Day 4 After Surgery...

Since the day of surgery, I have not had any doubts that the Lap Band was the right choice. I will admit that as I was being strapped onto the OR table, I asked myself what I had gotten myself into and if surgery was the right choice. In the recovery room I asked myself that again. I was in a great amout of pain but I knew that the pain and tears that I had would be worth it in the end.
As of today, I have lost 4 pounds since surgery day. I love knowing that those numbers will continue to go down.

Pre-Test Complete!

Yesterday I completed all of my pre-tests. They took some blood and an EKG, and said everything looked good. This is just one step closer to my goal. I cant wait to get rid of my pear shaped body and welcome a new and slender shape. I have never been thin so I can't wait to see how I will transform. 3 days to go. : }

Surgery is Less Than a Week Away!

Today is day 2 of my pre-op diet and so far I'm doing good. I'm keeping reminding myself that in a week the surgery will be over and I will hopefully be on my way home. I just wish I could fast forward a year a see how everything turns out
