"I just had my consultation visit yesterday 4/16/03. I met Dr. Frye and several of the very friendly staff. I appreciated the straightforwardness in Dr. Frye's responses. Never came across like a sales pitch. I felt he understood the plight of an obese patient, and the danger our health puts us in. The professional attitude of Dr. Frye was very reassuring. He is adamant of walking at least 2 miles a day(before and after surgery) and following doctor's orders for the best of health to be expected post-op. There is a 5 year, yes,,five year aftercare program with the team at "Allied Surgical Specialty Medical Group" in Fresno, CA. Risks are clearly defined, this is a tool, not "magic". I've only been to one other center and between the two I would definitely recommend Dr. Frye. Will add more later."
