Surgery date with Dr. Alvarez

I want to thank everyone for sharing your feelings and emotions and just having valuable information out there to share .  I'm new to posting on any web-site and still have LOTS of concerns about having the VSG.  Am I doing the right thing for me type thing?  I've never had any type of surgery.  But I have been on every diet out there, lost weight and decided I could do it on my own but to gain everything back as you all probably know that book.  I do have the problem of exercising but maybe that is because lack of energy and being weighed down, hoping that will change.  The thing I may have problems with is the 2 weeks liquid pre-op ,  dealing with urges and hunger?  Since I actually set a date of April 5th with Dr. Alvarez I'm feeling a BIT nervous and finding myself glued to this website and trying to fiqure it out.  So I hope this posting gets out there.  Any feedback about any of this please feel free t o let me know.  Also, I hear good things about Dr. A.
