"Dr. Udobi~ Was the greatest surgeon to get this surgery done from. From other profiles that I have seen of him, they don't give him a lot of credit because you get the impression that he isn't a very emotional doctor. However, he really does care about his patients and really wants people to succeed and do well in the surgery. He is very strict but means well in his actions, because he wants it to succeed. I think my impression over time of him got even better because of weight-loss and physically seeing the results! His staff was very friendly and on target to help me get in all of the paperwork and scheduling of appointments to get this surgery scheduled. What I liked the least about Dr. Udobi is waiting for him to see me for appointments. Not only is he a surgeon for Gastric Bypass but also a trauma doctor... so he is on call. Sometimes you have to end up taking the entire day off just to see him because he runs late usually. Patients should know, that he doesn't joke around. He is a very serious guy, and wants the best for his patients, but you gotta be serious and committed to having this surgery and vowing to change your lifestyle afterwards. He emphaszies the aftercare VERY MUCH! Well, as far as an aftercare program no, but the aftercare that you are depended to take upon yourself... Yes! Dr. Udobi, did explain the risks and side effects very detailed from this surgery. Overall, I would give Dr. Udobi as far on a rating scale of 1-10, I would give him a 9. He was excellent!!!"
