I am one of those people who has been heavy all their lives. My health is now showing what the weight has done to my body. I have high blood pressure, acid reflus, asthma, sore feet and ankles etc. This will give me a new lease on life. I want to be around for my grandchldren. My surgery is scheduled for 1/31/07. Next week. My daughter is also doing the bypass thing. She goes tomorrow. I'll take care of her and then she can take care of me We are a team!!!!
June 2007-
Its been 4 months since my WL surgery and I feel great! I've been told that I look great too! I'm down 68 pounds. Went from a size 22 to a 12. My whole outlook on life has changed. I can do things that I couldn't before. Stairs are a breeze. Bending over is easy. Sitting on the floor and getting up without help is wonderful. I'm so glad that I did this!!!!!
January 2008-
Its a new year and almost 1 year since my surgery. I have lost 100 pounds. Its amazing! I can't believe how great I feel and how glad I am that I made the decision to have this surgery. I now wear a size 6. I have more energy than I ever had before. I am finally having fun.!!!!!
