Last Thursday I got my date.......it will be this Friday Feburary 15th.  I am very very excited.   However I am scared as well.  I think I have all my ducks ina  row and things around here taken care of enough to go in with a clear conscience.  lol Does that make sense?  Anyhow, if there is any peice of advice you think I should have or some words of wisdom I am always open to suggestion.  Thanks and Take Care!!!

OK, so I have attended a class, met with the surgeon.  He wants to do a Gastric Bypass around Valentines day.  What a gift ( thats what I think)  What is going to make the gift even sweeter is all the paperwork and tests that need to be completed before the pre-authorization. Once those are finished it will feel good to take a breath and just wait.  I didn't realize how much work was going to be involved and I keep wanting to find myself getting discouraged and giving up.  I keep wanting to say I can't believe how much of this has been dumped in my lap without a clue of where to go  or who to ask and I just want to give up.  But I have wanted this surgery for soooo long and I think I deserve it and I think my family deserves it as well.  So my goal is to not let me talk myself out of this and just keep moving foward with a smile on my face and my eye on the prize.
