Since my last update, my surgeon had to take my port a cath out due to it coming out on its own. My skin in that area had become so thin due to my profound weight loss. I asked him about keeping it out. Dr. Hegstrom advised no that with the health the problems that I still have he would strongly suggest putting it back in just in case they need emergency access, IV's , medications, etc. So on August 15 he put in a double port a cath, in my left shoulder.
Now on the subject of my weight, I am very discouraged. The surgery was a big set back for me. They had to give me an IV and it went straight to my lungs and the weight has seemed to flood back on 
I have gained quite a bit of fluid back. It is at the point I can hardly walk again. I cant even hardly fit into my favorite easy chair. Yet again my clothes are tight. Is it ever going to change for me?
