Since my last update, my surgeon had to take my port a cath out due to it coming out on its own. My skin in that area had become so thin due to my profound weight loss. I asked him about keeping it out. Dr. Hegstrom advised no that with the health the problems that I still have he would strongly suggest putting it back in just in case they need emergency access, IV's , medications, etc. So on August 15 he put in a double port a cath, in my left shoulder.

Now on the subject of my weight, I am very discouraged.  The surgery was a big set back for me. They had to give me an IV and it went straight to my lungs and the weight has seemed to flood back on    I have gained quite a bit of fluid back. It is at the point I can hardly walk again. I cant even hardly fit into my favorite easy chair. Yet again my clothes are tight.  Is it ever going to change for me? Please keep me in your prayers  God Bless You...
