I started at 297 pounds after having 2 daughters 2 years apart. I didn't want to let myself get to 300 and chasing my kids around the mall, I almost died from huffing and puffing. So I decided to have laparoscopic RNY. I initially lost 160 pounds over 4 or 5 years and went from a size 24 to a size 00 due to some depression-related appetite changes. I didn't look good. I was skeletal. I have since gained back some, all the way up to 190 but now have regressed back to 159. No complications except bowel blockages. I have had 2 small bowel blockages and 1 large bowel blockage. Next month I will be going to revision due to the blockage being in one of the roux limbs. I don't really want to lose more but it is for health reasons, so we shall see!
