DEAR MEGAN, I am 54 years old and have been heavy allmy life. You are such an inspiration to me that you realized it at such a young age. I know the way you feel but now with a 140 lbs lost you must feel great inside and out. I have a twin sister and 3 brothers and they have never had a weight problem.. My sister i 111 lbs and she thinks she heavy. I think that that is totally another mental issue. Anyway, I am having my pre-op tests on June 12 and hope that the surgery will be soon after that. The waiting is just insane. However, I think that they schedule these things far apart so that if there are doubts you will have the time to change your mind. For me I can't wait. I wish you all the luck in the world and keep up the great job you are my hero. Karen

Megan~Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
