Melissa - I read that you are having problems with getting your paperwork submitted to Medicaid for approval. Before you chose a surgeon, did you happen to check out Peoria Surgical Group (Dr.DeBord, Dr.Marshall and others)? I'm going through them, had my initial consult following the referral from my PCP and I got approved by Public Aid in about 1 week. Peoria Surgical has an excellent program, lots of support and a great staff. If things don't improve with your current situation, I would think about calling them. Best of luck to you! - Anna
