Mercy Medical Center

"What a joke of a hospital. Sure, on the outside it would appear to be a place of healing and care but enter the doors to another dimension. The first day was alright, I imagine because I was still pretty drugged up. The second day, when it was time for my swallow test the rad. assistant came in and said, "I am here for Joyce or something." Hello? Are the lights on there, dude? My name is Sonia and until you know who I am have a great day yourself. =) Later that same day I found my vein blown and for over an hour-and-a-half I waited for a nurse to check this out and to turn off the iv machine that was beeping every 48 seconds. I could go on and on about my experience but will just conclude that on my way out I was humiliated in cramming into a child sized wheelchair on an extremely bumpy road with a not so happy cna. (I am 5'8" and 250 so I wasn't so terribly obese that I totally filled up a regular wheelchair, I had been in one about 2 months previous and fit just fine.) BEWARE OF THIS HOSPITAL! I wouldn't even send my worst enemy here. Doctor Valentine would probably triple his practice if it weren't for his association with that dumpy place."

Jim Valentine

"I was very impressed with Dr. Valentine and his office staff. He spent quite a bit of time in the room with me going over every detail involved with surgery, the amount of operations he has performed and the amt. of times he has to go back in and fix things. I feel very confident in his competency. The staff in the office has kept in touch with me since the initial office visit. I had to wait over a month for my sleep study. His office checked in to make sure I was hanging in there. I feel that they sincerely care. I will write more as the process evolves."
