161 this week.  stay away from carbs and you will lose.

I'm now 5 months out since surgery and still not filled to the perfect tightness.  It is alot slower than I had thought or hoped it should be, but I am still going down the scale.  My weight now is at 189.  Thats 27 lbs so far. I have started riding my bike more in the last couple weeks, and i think that has helped get it moving again.  I was stalled for about a month and had no weight change. 

Well I went for another fill a couple days ago and received another cc bringing it up to a total of 5 cc (ya what a slow process of getting the "right fit").  Didn't lose what I should have but I'm still going down.  My weight is right now, this morning, at 193.6 and moving.  
The nurse that does the fills for my DR told me that they went to a siminar recently and NOW their going to get alittle more aggessive with the banders...... WOW it is about freakin time.  I spent my own money to have this surgery and I would have liked to see a much faster weight loss than this................ok enough  im not going there.  I could not have lose the 23 lbs without the band or the 3 fills i have.  SO I go for my next fill in less than 2 weeks.  (I can get filled every two weeks now).  Oh on a really cool note.  I did do my mesurements today and have lost 15+ inches, and not only that but they were mostly from my hips and my waist (9 inches for that area).

weight is 202.8. 

I went in to get my first fill (3 cc) 2 days ago.  The actual fill does not hurt as all but the shot they gave me to numb it, burned a bit.  I didn't watch them do it because I figured it would hurt more if I saw them sticking me. 
The first month I was worried I wasn't trying hard enough, but I know there is a learning curve to figure this tool out.  As of today I am down to 204.8 and I Have lost about a lb since my fill, so yippy for me.

Today is day 8 for my band and me.  I still have alittle gas but it has decreased a great deal in the last few days.  I am still swollen where the larger scar is but the other 4 tiny scars will most likely dissapear compleatly.  They all itch.  I am worried so much about over eating and am trying to stay focused.  You would think that a person spending this kind of money could keep a handle on it, but is is hard and I hope it wil continue.  I can not wait till I get a fill and get some restriction.  So that brings me to my weight loss so far,  Before surgery, and this is what I am callin my start weight, I weighed 216, today (and the last couple days) I weigh 207,  so 9 lbs so far,  5 since surgery.

Im home.  been an odd day.  I cant drink but a very small about or it makes the tummy fell kinda sqeemish.  BUT ALL IS GOOD

Even though its 12:16 in the morning it is still the day I have been waiting on for over a year.  More than that if you count the wishing and the research and the everything else it took to get here.  It's kinda surreal really, it almost doesnt seem real.  I so want this to work for me, I want my vision of my life to be who I am again and not just a crazy dream.
