Closer to surgery date

It is November 9th. I will begin my liquid diet in a few days. I  finally told my family and have a more settled feeling about all of it. Am I excited? No. Just coming to terms with the days that lie ahead of me. It has been in the future for so long and now
the time is suddenly upon me to act. I am becoming more prepared each day emotionally. I am determined to make it all count. I am determined to do all that I can to prepare myself to excel. I pray that I have made the right decision for myself and for my family.
