Where to start....
I am a 26 year old wife, daughter, sister, god-mother, friend, etc.
Another huge part of my identity is that I am a very overweight graduate student, studying to be a clinical psychologist. I worry that without this surgery I may not be taken serious professionally. I have completed many psych evaluations for people going for this surgery, who were a lot smaller than me, which got me to thinking that it might be something I should consider.
I am really a very happy person with a very full life, but over the past year I have realized that my weight has been holding me back from doing things I want to do.
I can't wait to be healthy!
