Hello and thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers both before and after surgery. I am one week post-op and feeling better than last week. lol. I especially want to thank my Angel, Rhonda, thank you for being just an email or a phone call away.

2:05 p.m. Angel flying in.. I FINALLY GOT TO MEET MELANIE TODAY!! She looked so wonderful, a little nauseuos which is to be expected.. She walked twice today, pretty good for someone who just had OPEN RNY surgery. I would like to thank everyone who was kind enough to sign her page I printed it out and gave it to her..Good Bless every pre-op and post-op AMOS member.

2:25 p.m. First I would like to thank the AMOS members who took the time to wish Melanie a safe journey. Well, all of our prayers were answered, I spoke with Melanies mom she said everything went great Dr. Capehart had to remove her gallbladder, but felt she was doing so wonderful she was going to be moved to a room not ICU. Again thank everyone who signed her page, I will print it out and take it to her on tommorow (allowing her to get a little rest today).THANKS FAMILY...
