Hi everyone and I want to Thank everyone for the words of encouragement!! It has been 2 weeks and I am getting better, no complications. It is difficult to get the water in, but I keep trying. I do have a pain mid abdomen that is annoying, some times hurts pretty bad. I am having that checked out Monday. I was started on Pepcid Friday for it. I have advanced from liquids to soft protein, yogart, cottage cheese, string cheese, cheese, refried beans, & soft egg.I tried the yogart loved it before surgery can't do it now. The Taco Bell refried beans, no sauce, and cheese was pretty good. The string cheese is great. I can only eat about half of the cheese, I can get most of a poached egg down. And I have lost 40 lbs. in 2 weeks. YEAH!!!
