"I worked with Dr. Kreithen during his training fellowship in Gainesville and was delighted to find that he is practicing in my parents hometown. That is part of the reason that he will be my choice for my plastics work. The biggest reason, however is that he is a caring, honest and extremely talented physician. He is currently encouraging me to be at the best possible weight ans in the best possible shape for my body lift as is possible because that will help ensure the best possible results. i like to liken it to having a better outcome in a piece of art because of starting with a quality canvas. I'm not gonig to be doing this until next year, but after meeting with Dr. Kreithen, I am very clear on what I need to do to be ready.
Update, June 8,2007---8 weeks out of my lower body lift. I am tickled by my results thus far. THe scar is beautiful (as much as such a thing can be) and is looking like it will heal great. I am feeling great. I came don from Gainesville specifically to have Dr. Kreithen do my surgery and will be seeing him again for my upper half, when the time comes. He and his team took wonderful care of me, even going so far as to call me at home the night after I got out of the hospital to see how things were going. Even my nurses who took care of me for the 4 days i was in the hospital were wonderful. If you've got to have a giant skin whack like this, Dr. Kreithen is the person to do it and Lakewood Ranch Hospital is the place to have it!!!!
8/4/07..timing is about 4 months out of my total lower body lift. I am sooooo happy. The puffiness has decreased markedly. I am able to be back at the gym working out and am really really pleased with my results!!!!"
"I had two surgeons involved in my care, Dr. Rout and Dr. Juan Cendan, as well as Sarah, thier nurse practioner. All three have been wonderful. i work with them, so choosing them for my surgery was a no-brainer. Even when I was having some pretty hideous complications immediatly post-op, they were both wonderful about spending time with my parents and explaining EVERYTHING that was going on. I know that helped my folks out a great deal and eased a lot of thier worry. I have been in and out of the hospital a few times since surgery and they've both been just as wonderful as at the start. The office staff has been good with me too, even tho they were in the midst of some structural overhauling. The risks of surgery were explained to me in great deal, even tho I knew plenty about the technical aspects. Despite the complications I would do this again, in a minute with these physicians. "
"I had some complications, as is possible with any surgery. My nurses on the 6th floor were instrumental in spotting the difficulty I was having and immediatly dealing with the emergency. without them i very well may have gotten seriously, seriously ill."
