Well, I had the surgery done and everything went marvelously! There were no complications, thank god! The worst part about it was getting sick the night after the surgery, which is completely normal. After getting sick, I felt a million times better and went home the next day!

Things at home have been going ok... There is not much to do and the tv is watched a lot... bad because of all the food commercials. Its not like I am hungry, im just sick of the baby food consistancy. Everything i eat has to be pureed and strained thru a tea strainer. Its all worth it when you see the results... One week and i am down 11 lbs! I can't wait to see what i can do with this tool!

Tomoorow is the day! I am excited and nervous!

Only one more week until the surgery... I am so excited!

I got a date for my surgery today! I go in on June 24... only two weeks away! I totally can't wait!

I know it has only been 14 hours since my last post, but I needed another one. After i created my account last night and saw different peoples success, I could not sleep. I tossed and turned all night thinking about what the surgery would be like and what life after surgery would be like. I have always loved sports and being active, but my weight has held me back. I go to a vey athletic school and can't wait to be able to run aruond a field and not get winded... or simply take the stairs instead od the elevator. I feel like Monday is going to take forever to get here... I hope to get a date then!! YAY!!

So, since January i have been doing all of the pre-op tests for gastric bypass surgery and they are done! today, i went to my first support meeting. it was amazing to see other people who have been successful or others thinking about having the surgery. i have an appointment with my surgeon on Monday and should get a date then! i cant wait!
