Hi! My name is Megan but everyone calls me Mig. I am a single mom of a beautiful 1 year old boy named Brodie. I have always been the "big" girl growing up. I started having real trouble with my weight when I was in 6th grade, I have tried every diet under the sun and nothing has seemed to help. Over the years I just keep putting on the weight. I have wanted to do WLS surgery for 2 years now but I never had the insurance to cover it. But now I begin my new life!! I am recently divorce, have a wonderful new job with the state and have the determination to change my life for the better. I want to take care of my little boy. I want to be able to run after him and most of all, I just want to be active again! One of my best friend's Autumn had the WLS in 2003 and she has been my rock through this whole process.
