I am now home doing fine. I was really impressed with Dr. Gooden. Also, the staff at St. Joseph Hospital were very nice. Day after the surgery I was beginning to wonder why I put my body through all this trauma. After the third day, I was happy I had it done and have felt better each day. For the time being, I have not had to take my insulin, because my blood sugar levels have been stable. I am now on a ten (10) day liquid diet. Since Tuesday (day of surgery) I have lost 14 lbs. I am now on the losing side. I would to thank everyone for their support. All of you have been great. God Bless.

Michael, Congratulations on your up coming surgery. Wanted you to know that I was thinking about you our prayers are with you. I know this will make a positive change in your life. Before you know it, you will be up and around enjoying your new life. I am thrilled with my results check out my profile for all the weight and inches I have lost in the past 9 months its been wonderful. I am so thankful God has been with me on this journey. Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I am going back to work early because I feel so good. I hope your experience is as positive!
