One Week Left!

So I am having surgery a freaking week from today! I'm still not all that nervous, its almost like I don't believe its really happening or is isn't going to happen for some reason. But I am basically prepared. I still have to go shopping for some after surgery food but other then that...well who knows.

I still have to write my letters, my in case something happens to me letters, mostly because I know nothing will happen to me if I am prepared.

I made arraignments for Mike to pick up this beautiful micro suede over-sized recliner for $150. Just wanted to give big props to the lady who is selling it to me for being able to hold on to it until we get paid! Woot woot!

I also made Mike my Health Care Proxy yesterday. It sucked, he was being a total baby about it and I am starting to wonder if he even understood most of it. It seemed like it went in one ear and out the other! Oh well, I'm sure he got the gist he just didn't want to talk about it. Who does?

Been really sick for awhile now, have this awful cold going on 10 days! Missed all of work last week and spent New Years Eve all alone in my sick bed! I've been terrified that they will cancel surgery but I had all my pre-op tests and they haven't called so I can only assume I am good to go. I hope they don't wait until the last minute to cancel and momentarily shatter all my hopes and dreams!

Mike is taking off the 13th, 14th, and 16th so I will only be alone on the 15th in the hospital. Then the following week he is going to WAH (Work at Home) in case I need him. I guess we work for a pretty good company after all.

So. That's about it. I have a job interview on Thursday that would entail about a 10k raise so pretty nervous/excited about that!
