HEY ALL,
I am new here..... had a VBG in 2001, lost 115 lbs..... got diagnosed with Bells Palsy, started taking Prednisone, and started gaining weight- I gained 50 pounds and sought help..... one slick surgeon decided I just needed a lapband over my VBG- and I have never lost a pound with the band...... my port has un-attached, i can't bend over, and I developed servere reflux, and i barf all the time- Finally, after 5 years of the lap-hell, I am scheduled for revision to RNY. I'm nervous, but my surgeon is the absolute best in the state and a real expert on revisions..... won't be long now..... I got my approval from the insurance co. yesterday, and now, i await my surgery date and pre-op appointments.
I hope to make some friends on here..... I'm from North Texas
