Hello my name is Cindy, I am Canadian and my husband Paul and myself are waitting for our surgery. We have all our tests, p eople whomever we had to see and now we wait. It feels like a lifetime of waiting since last September. I have tried nemerous times to lose weight not much progress, have a knee injury and not much helping but of course, you need to lose weight well if I could I would have, family Doctor recommended the Lap band in the united states but the surgery is now being done here in Ottawa so we will have to have it done here.Will be the gastric by pass as we do not do lapbands here. Main reason is to have longevity, and better health. My husband is having this done as well , we are doing it together, so it should make things easier for us both. One thing I am learning is patience, these things do not happen over night, well just wanted to introduce myself and mu husband Paul.
