It's been a long time coming. I am just now starting this process. I have been reading about the surgeries and visiting this site since 2005. I am finally ready to do something. I am hoping to be banded in the very near future. I know everyone says they have been fat all of their life so why would I be any different. Growing up my nickname, which some people still call me to this day, was "Fat Face". I think that tells it all. I have tried so many diets, programs, and medications that I have lost count. I have been successful at some, then of course you gain the weight back double! I am looking at changing my life. I am approaching my 29th birthday and hoping to have surgery soon so that when my 30th arrives I will be at or near my goal. Here we go!!!!
