My name is Melissa and I had my RNY January 6, 2010. I have an amazingly supportive husband and family. I have made some lifelong friends through my original support group in Upstate NY where I had my surgery. I moved to VA in early 2011 and I am starting to find my way in the world. I struggle daily with making good food choices (I don't dump) and the new face that I see in the mirror. But all in all this is the BEST thing I have ever done for myself and I'd do it again in a minute!!
