"I had surgery on October 3, 2012. I checked into the hospital extremely nervous! I was so scared, I mean its major surgery. Once I was brought to the back, the nurses made me feel so welcome and at ease. I felt safe immediately. Up stairs in pre-op I was treated so well I was given warm blankets and smiles, I was so at ease I fell asleep while waiting. I have no memory of the events to come, I woke up with my family staring down at me. I was on great pain meds and the nursing staff was excellent! Overall it was a great experience."
