Surgeon Appointment

Hello,
Today is Sept 25, 2007, and my appointment with Dr. Bruce Applebaum is scheduled for October 12, 2007. I am so excited. I never thought this would be possible. I am so grateful for my daughter seeing that TriWest covered this procedure in a book she received. I had no idea and not one doctor, PA, or anyone ever even mentioned this as a possibility.
I am hoping to have my surgery via LAP, but, if I have to have the open RNY, that will be fine with me. I have had 2 C-Sections, a gallbladder removed, and a total hysterectomy. This is a peice of cake.
I am liiking forward to my new life and the changes that are going to happen to me, and for me.

Well I am updating my blog.
I have had my appt with the Nutritionist and the Psych. The Psych said I need to see another Psych, I guess I have to many skelitons in my closet. By the way that is where they will remain. I also attended the seminar that my doctor insisted on.
I had my appt with the 2nd shrink. He has okayed me for surgery and suggests that I continue seeing him. There is a surprise, not!!!!. I am going to continue seeing him since I am having this surgery. I feel that with all the changes I am going to go through, this would be a goo idea.
I have also received a clearance for surgery from my cardiologist. I have had and echocardiogram, and a chemical stress test wich showed a mild abnormality. This resulted in the need for a catherization. When that was completed, no abnormalities were found. At least I now know that my arteries are in great shape, and that my heart is fine.
I am ready for surgery. At least at my level.
