soooo 6 months has gone by and I have hit some frustrating points in my journey..... but I am sooooo glad that I had the lap band done.  I am half way to my goal of 180.  I only have 55 pounds left to loose.  My goal is to loose the rest of the weight by June and then try to get his extra skin on my tummy removed.  I think that is the most frustrating part of the process for me.  I have had numerous rashes underneath the extra skin and have been given creams and medicine.  It always goes away but comes back.   So I take that part day by day......  The holidays went well.... I remember this time last year I ate soooo much that I gained 10 pounds.  This year was the complete opposite.....It felt good to be in control of my eating and loose weight during the holiday season.  I went and had my band filled Im up to 5.40 in my band.  I did that on the 23rd of dec and have been dropping weight again.

I was looking at family photos from the prior years and I dont recognize the person in those photos.  Its kinda funny how loosing weight transforms you as a person. This year I went out for New Years and wore a sexy outfit.  I felt attractive and for the first time in a long time held my head high.   Im looking forward to the new year and wondering what will come..... Iam hoping for a new year full of living and loving.

PS  planning on doing a 5k run in november.

Well it has been for months post op and I am down 50 pounds.....i am sooo excited!  Iam down to a 14/16 in shirts and at 16/18 in pants.  I have been working out and am looking at hiring a personal trainer to help tone up.  I even began running....that has alsways been a goal of mine.  I even find myself not really focsuing on my eating like in the beginning...I think I just got used to the routine.  I still have my little treats here and there but dont crave it like before surgery.  I have such a new out look on life in general and am even dating now...thats more exciting.    I hope all is doing well for all and will be in toch soon!

Sooooo its been a month and a half....I have lost 30 pounds so far....and for the last week and a half i have not lost anything.  Is this normal??????????   I have been doing well with my diet and began exercising....what gives?

Well it has been 30 days Since having Lapband Surgery done....and I am feeling great and am down a total of 30 pounds.  Which is awesome!  I go back to see the surgeon on the 29th of June for a fill....I am sooooo excited I am in a size 18/20 comfortably and my target size would be a 12/14....i am well on my way.....

Hello....

Well I went to the doctor this morning and all is going well.  i have lost 16 pounds so far.....i am excited about that!    I cant wait to see how things will progress......I am getting back to normal....still a bit sore but all in all getting better day by day!

Well its been 4 days since having my lap band surgery.  All is going well...I have lost 7 pounds so far and am feeling much better.  I did a bit to much yesterday and am feeling the effects today.  All in all I am doing well.  I think that the most difficult part is not being able to eat what I want.  The pureed thing is not to bad but I do want something of substance....LOL  Oh well a week and a half left and then I graduate to soft foods......

 

Well it has been 48 hours since my surgery date.  I am soooo sore!  The incision wear the port is hurts the most....oh and it hurts to get up!  Other than that I have been doing well.......I have been walking around trying to get rid of the gas that is built up.    I have already lost 3 pound......that blew my mind away.   Well off to take a nap.....

Well the day is almost here....I am excited, but when I think about it I get scared and question if I am doing the right thing.  I get excited when I look at what people on here have done and the weight that they have lost.  This page is such a motivational tool....Well I am off to pack and get ready for my big day tomorrow. 
 

I am 48 hours away from the surgery day.  I am excited and Wednesday is not coming fast enough.   I have my bag ready for the overnight stay in the hospital......got my fuzzy slippers all ready to go!   LOL  

SO I am in the middle of my last week before my rebirth.  I have all of my pre op testing complete and am just waiting.  I think that my nerves are getting te best of me.  I have been having problems sleeping and am sooooo tired.  This is my last weekend before surgery and I have so much running around to do to get everything in order for after the surgery.
