Ready, set, go!
Almost ready to start the magnesium citrate for the bowel prep. Oh, joy!

Well, tomorrow is the big day and I am getting excited. I still have lots to do but I am so glad that it is finally here and that they moved my day up.  Yeah!

I'll post when I return... 

Well, yesterday afternoon I recieved a call from the surgery scheduler and was asked if I would like to move my day up one day. What a difference a day makes! Of course, I said yes.

But then I was thrown into panic mode. I was going to get help with the house cleaning Monday and my hair cut and my mom is coming from out-of-town to help with my little one...but not until Thursday. ACK!

I know those other things can wait but I'm such a planner. Well, this has all been in God's hands since the beginning so I was able to take a few breaths (ok, a few dozen and regroup. Plus, one less day on the pre-op diet is cool with me. =) 

Ok, it's the second day of my two week liquid pre-op diet. Not much fun, but doable. Sort of grumpy, sort of tired, feeling a little blah. Boy, I am so glad I was on a strict diet 2 months prior to prepare myself for this! 

Woo-hoo! I have my surgery date!  I am very excited and have lots to do but this is a huge relief. I went out today and bought the products I need for my pre-op liquid diet that starts tomorrow. Will keep you posted...

Received a call from the surgeon's nurse that my clearances have been rec'd and that I am in line for the surgery scheduler to call and set my date.

Getting really excited / nervous now. Have also started "nesting". I'm getting the house in order...planning meals for my family for when I am in the hospital, cleaning out the closets, cabinets and pantry...similiar to when I was in my last trimester. =) 

Maybe I feel that I'll be reborn after the surgery with a new chance to improve my health and enjoy life again. Then again it just might be the desire to DO SOMETHING while waiting,,,,,
