My RNY surgery was 1/21/2009 in Durham, NC I am doing great. I'm back to work already, walking over a mile a day, HATE THE FULL LIQUIDS, and am counting down to my soft food date of 2/10/2009!!!!! I am diabetic and am now off my medication, but a little concerned because I thought my sugars would be non-existant. That is not the case... YET.... so I am being patient. However, I am off my blood pressure and cholesterol medication, so Im getting to where I want to be. The weight loss will be amazing, but getting rid of medication is my main goal.
