SMALL VICTORIES
10/29/07 - Wore pants that were too tight - and they FIT!!
11/6/07 - Someone said they thought I looked like I had lost some weight - I said "yes, I did! - Thanks!"
11/11/07 - My ticker went to under 100 pounds to lose!! YIPPEEE!!!
01/13/08 - Able to pull jeans off without unbuttoning or unzipping!
01/23/08 - 3 months & made it into the 250's!

I am a 32 year old mother of 3 beautiful boys. Ages 5, 4, and 2 years. I have a wonderful and supportive husband of almost 11 years. I have not been overweight my entire life, just most of it! :) As a teenager I was bigger than most of my friends, but as I look back now I realize I was the PERFECT size for me. I am not built to be a size 6 or 8. I am built to be a size 12 or 14. I am comforable there and I look pretty darn good.
My journey to WLS and the lap band began 4 years ago. I had had enough and made the decision I wanted to go forward with it. But that was all the farther I got, I was denied by insurance 2 times and then I guess I just gave up. We were also planning to have another baby and I felt that I should wait until after we did that. Jump to 4 years later and I have my third boy and we are DONE with having kids and I now have the money to fund the operation! YIPPEE!! I called the doctor and they scheduled me right away for October 23rd. The timing and everything has worked out perfectly - I thank God for that - I know His hand was involved in all of this!!
