this week has really been difficult!!but today was a really good day, i walked to my sons bus stop and felt good walking back home, didnt get overheated or anything!!!i was so happy about that!!! I got on the scale today IT SAID::::251.2!!!! I dont know what I left the hospital weighing but the last time I got on the scale it was 263.4, so thats 13 pounds since my surgery date!!!yay me!!!I need to get in rountie with my walking then I think i will lose more!!! Im on the stage 3 diet, eggs have become my best friend, and chicken too, i also started eating watermelon which makes me feel so good, and hrdyrated!!! Im looking forward to next week to see what my weight lost brings!!! My 1st anniversary is monday Im excited, even though i wish we could go to olive garden,,,,,,,oh how i miss olive garden............my chicken parmigan and my favorite straberry margerita!!!!! I hope everyone HAS AN EXCELLENT WEEKEND!!!!!



YES YES TODAY WAS DEFINATELY BETTER IN FACT I COOKED DINNER BAKED CHICKEN(FOR ME) BISCUITS, RICE AND GRAVY AND PEAS FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!1:) I FOLDED AND PUT AWAY 3 BASKETS OF CLOTHES, CLEAN-UP DINNER DISHES, AND WASHED 2 LOADS OF CLOTHES!!!!!THANK YOU LORD.........THIS IS THE SIGN THAT I NEEDED TO KNOW THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY!!!! CANT SAY IM NOT TIRED, BUT I TOOK SHORT BREAKS IN BETWEEN CHORES!!!!!GO ME!!

Okay today has been a very emotional day!!! I dont know why, but my emotions are definately getting the better of me!! And All the protein shakes I liked pre-op I HATE now!!!smh, and I cant get all of my fluids down........ Im so frustrated.  Bottom line it boils down to that fact that my relationship with GOD has slacked, and I need to get it back.  Thats what Im missing in  my life.  But over rall I only had to take my lortab 1 time today, and I walked my son to his bus stop this morning, so I felt good!!!! I have to relieze that this is a journey and is something that will happen over night!!!!I CAN DO THIS!!!!I KNOW I CAN...........

SOOOOO I had my surgery last monday, the 21st f feb, everything went well, I lose 8 pounds on my 7 day liquid diet!!!yay, it was so har, i cheated 3 out of 7 days:(, but Everything still turned out alright!!!! My pain is pretty much controled, but im trying to wean myself off the medicine, I went for my first walk today and boy was it harder than I every could of imagine, when people say this is taking the easy way out, THEY LIED!!!!!This is in no way easy!!! today was a hard day, tomorrow will be better!!!

So i've been calling all around richmond look for a new surgeon, the one i orginally talked to said that I would have to start the process all over again......So today I called one, Dominion surgeons i think, and they said that all my paperwork would be good for 1 year, so the only I have to do is attend one of their seminars!!!!athen see the doctor!!!!! THANK YOU GOOD

ok so....my husband just got a promotion to a sous chef in richmond virginia, which is a 1.5 hours from norfolk where I currently live now... so oct 29 we will be moving to richmond, with that being said, i have postponed my surgery, because driving 1.5 hours just to see my surgeon will be a lot for me.  So I have set up my appointment  with a surgeon in richmond for the 1st week in november, and sadly I have to start the process ALL over AGAIN!!!:(:(:(

Its 11 mins untils is 9/12...................I am almost 1 month until my surgery, I havent begun to get scared yet, but I am having some doubts, my husband is up for promotion, and the new job could take us to richmond, virginia which is about 1.5 hours away where we are now (norfolk, va) so its not to far, so Im trying to decide If I should wait until we move and ger settled or should I go ahead with it, and just travel down here after my surgery to met with my surgeon? DECISION, DECISIONS, DECISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im so glad its friday.  Yesterday I went to my first suppose group meeting, it was very informational, and I received a lot of good information.  Im still very excited, just found out yesterday that we will be moving to richmond, because my husband got a new promotion to be an sous chef!!!!

As of today I have met my surgery Dr. Gregory Adams, met the Nurtionist, had my Phsyic evualation, had my pap smear.......AND I HAVE BEEN CLEARED FOR SURGERY BY THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the next step is to attend a support group meeting, which I will be attending this thursday Sept 9, in Virginia Beach!!!! My surgery is scheduled for Oct 18, 2009!!!! and I'm ready!!!!  AWW today is the end of my 4.5 day weekend, back to work tomorrow!!It is the 1st day of school for all the kids in Virginia!! my baby will be going into first grade, And I will be getting new students as well!!!!
