CENTURY CLUB MAKE ROOM FOR ME TOO!!!

Feb 25, 2009

So I am happy to announce that I hit my 100lb mark 2 days ago (Feb 23).  YAY!!!  I took me just over six months to make my way to the century club but I found my way there and I am NEVER turning back.  I am feeling much better, I can keep up with my kids, even chase them down if they are running from me.  I have so much more energy its wonderful.  My face...wow, my face has changed so much, for the first time in a LONG time I think I look pretty  :)  I dont know what all to say, I am just so happy, amazed, feel accomplished....and overwhelmed with so many feelings.  My oldest child finally is realizing that I am losing weight, it only took 100 lbs, lol...but better late than never and the fact that she is seeing it makes me feel good.  I am wearing a size 18/20 shirt and 22/24 pants....my bra I have gone from a 48 DD to a 42 D which is awesome...I can shop at regular stores now.

As for the rest of life for me, well, its still a bit crazy.  My hubby is still deployed and wont be back til May (we hope).  So, the kids are trying to put me in a crazy house I think, lol.  They just dont like to listen to me.....but thats life isnt it.  Work is crazy too, being a preschool teacher is much harder than one would think and I have recently been assigned the new lead teacher of the two year old class.....so just imagine 24 two year olds....for 8 hours a day, can we say stress, lol.

But enough of that, my weight progression is going awesome, and I really couldnt be any happier.  I still say if there is anyone out there that is thinking about this surgery....it is very much worth it.  Go for it!!!  And for those of you that have already had it, keep up the good work and dont forget your protein  :)  Til next time, take care.
