"Other than an EXTREMELY long time in the waiting room (1-1/2 HOURS!), I found Dr. Quilici's staff to be professional and competent. I understand that with the popularity of this surgery, it is necessary to weed out the "undecideds", so I was given a notebook of information to read, and then met with the dietitian, who was extremely kind and very knowledgeable.
Dr. Quilici's aftercare program is probably the most important part of the entire process because once surgery is over, it's up to YOU for the rest of your life! Several support groups are available for both pre- and post-op patients and their partners, which helped both me and my family get answers to the questions we had.
Personally, I can would prefer a skilled surgeon above bedside manner, and my friends who are surgical nurses all told me that Dr. Quilici is "the best". I'm very confident that he explained the risks/benefits, and provided me with significant documentation to allow me to make an informed decision as to whether this was the best choice for me or not."
