Well today is officially one week post op for Nicole. I was happy to be her angel, she was an easy one. :) She must have had plenty of heavenly angels looking out for her. She did great with her surgery, in fact in her own words "it was a breeze" WOW! This was Nicole's first surgery and she came through it wonderfully. She said the pain was minimal and has not needed pain meds since being discharged from the hospital. She said the worst part was the jp drain, but that came out before leaving the hospital. She had her mom with her for the week and I think that helped alot, having the support. In one week post op she has lost 11.5 pounds. Great job Nicole, you are doing superb.

I spoke with Nicole today and she is doing well. She is using her morphine pump and expected to be getting up to do some walking soon. She said the worst part is a sore throat. So happy for you Nicole, that all went well for you.

Nicole had her surgery this morning. Her mom just called me and gave me a good report. They were close to schedule and she finished in about 4 hours. She spent some time in recovery and then got into her room. She was groggy but not complaining of any pain, (yet, LOL ) I am so glad to hear everything went well, and I am praying that Nicole will have an uneventful recovery.
