Well, I am returning to this website after having a surgery date, getting sick before the night of the surgery, and then having to cancel it.  Then I moved back hom to CT (from MI) where all my friends and family are.  In a way I think it was a blessing that I didn't have it in MI and that I have it here with support.  Since then I have been through an awful lot in my life.  I have made it through my husband having an affair, a serious back injury, severe depression and a drug dependency.  Now that I have addressed those issues, I feel like I am better prepared to take on the surgery.  I did lose about 35 pounds after my husband's affair, but I am not losing any more and I really want to get the pounds off.  I was 245 5'2 when I got my surgery date.  Now I am 220 and looking into the surgery in Danbury, CT with Dr. Zuccala.  The bad part is that I have to go through all of the prep stuff all over again in order to be approved here in CT.  They will not take any of my information from MI.  I guess it is good that they are thorough and want to make sure I am in good health.  I have not met the doctor yet and am scheduled for my seminar and consultation March 4.  I will write more aftet that.
