In brief:
I went in for WLS surgery on 7-14-04.
A 40 min lap. rny procdure turned into a surprise 7 hour open surgery due to a cancer tumor found in my stomach.
It was GIST. Three years out I still scan as NED (no evidence of disease - as close to cancer free as the doc's will say).
I've lost somewhere over 165 lbs. And had some extensive plastics in '07.
Still healing from round two as of Sept 07.
As brief as this profile is I am actually planning on writing a book on my experience.
