My story is short and to the point ofcourse! I was FAT! The last 7 years I have struggled beyond belief to lose weight, my body was so out of whack from my pregnancies that it really was tough to lose weight and lets not ignore the fact, I LOVE FOOD!!!! Whole heartedly! But I knew after one failed diet attempt after another I needed something more. I couldn't do it myself and after a good 5 years fo researching it I finally decided that this was it! I have to say I am probably a success story noone wants to hear, though some may relate. I went for a consult with Dr. Kam in Michigan, who is just AWESOME....and within 2 weeks from that consult I already had my insurance approval and then scheduled surgery. You see I had been doing everything the insurance companies required on my own and didn't even know that it was a requirement for WLS. I was seeing a doctor for several years to lose the weight, been with Weight Watchers, Nutri-System, MEdifast and so on. So it all happened very quickly. And was the best decision I ever made. I will keep you all posted on my progress as I find the time!!!
