My journey began about 3 years ago, then I got a huge slap in the face on March 2nd, 2007. My mother died at age 52 of a heart attack and was extremely overweight. I do not want to do that to my family or my husband. So I began the journey to really put forth effort to surgery. It was a slow road but here I am I had my surgery on Aug. 28th, 2009 and began the first day of my new life. Thank you to all my support team and to my amazing husband that without them I could not have made it this far.
