Well hear goes.
I have always been overweight and from about the age of 11 ish i was bullied. My weight at 14 was about 5 stone more than someone of my age and i was in a uk 18. I had excess hair as soon as pubity started and was very much the target for all insults. I was called bison at school and as you prob know they are very big furry animals. I got very depressed and started to skip some classes and rebel in others. When i finaly left school i went on to train to be a cook and after 1 year left as its just the worst thing for an over weight person to do. Skipping a few years i was told in 2001 that i had PCOS after tring for a baby for 1.5 years. I was then informed that the excess hair, bad moods, depression, heavy or none periods were down to this PCOS. After some months i fell pregnant with help "CLOMID" and had my son and 9 months later with help again fell with my daughter. After having the children i started to think about ways to reduce my weight then the Dr asked me to try various pills so i did and not much good. I am now at 322lb and have various problems with my health but i'm only 30 and i want to see my children grow up. Surgery would mean i could start again and be who i want to be run around with my lovely kids and live a better life. Drs in the UK really don't care about the Obese and have no idea how to deal with the growing problem.

2nd October 2007

Well it was time of the month for my laser treatment today and god i needed it. I went in as normal and thought i would ask how much it would cost if i had to pay for it (i get it free with NHS/PCT) i was given a price list and was shocked to see that it costs £210.00 per session, My total yearly bill is £2,520.00.
I then remembered that my consultant advised that by having tohe op it should reduce hair growth to a possible nill. This is just one of the problems that i have and get treatment for under the NHS/PCT and this alone costs them £2,520.00 per year multiply that by 4  £10,080.00 which would cover the bypass. I also have been told that My PCOS should be minimal if any,
My bad spots should be minimal if any, My joints and bone pain should be easier, Less likely to develop gallbladder disease. Less likely to develop high blood pressure, Less likely to develop diabetes, Less likely to develop arthritis, Less likely to develop some cancers including prostate, breast, cervix and ovarian cancer, Less likely to have a stroke, Less likely to suffer back problems, Less likely to be infertile, Less likely to suffer depression, Less likely to snore and suffer sleep disorders.
So why the hell do i keep getting declined??

17th January 2008

Wow what a rollercoaster my life is, Xmas eve i was turned down for the fith time by NHS so had a crap depressing Xmas. Got really upset at stupid things so Dr doubled my anti deppressants and now they seemed to be working. I had a breakthrough with my husband (i thought that by keeping all my problems from him would be easier), i asked him if we could get a loan to pay for the RNY and after me telling him everything he agreed so the ball is rolling......
