Well, where to begin... I have always been an active person. I played soccer from the age of 5 to the age of 21. I am now 24. My husband and I just recently celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary and let me tell you it has been one interesting year of marriage for us. We have one medical mystery after another between the two of us and neither one of us never new that anything was wrong with us until he was in the air force and we got such great health insurance :). I have always been overweight, but have always been physically fit, if that makes any sense. I was always amazing at soccer. I was a starting freshman on the varsity soccer team in high school and was and used my weight as intimidation factor. It never really held me down until I graduated high school and stopped playing SOCCER!!! Then college came around and my freshmen 15 was more like freshmen 80. (No Joke) Really embarrassing :(. I dropped out of college because I just wasn't motivated. Then my husband and I decided to move in together and two years later we were engaged and married. He graduated college and commissioned into the USAF. I have researched weight loss surgery before but because I was no longer in school, I was no longer on my mothers insurance therefore had no way to pay for the surgery until now. My journey started back in May of this year and now just a few short months later I am now scheduled to have my surgery next week!!! I am very excited for all that is to come. I am ready to get my life back that I hadn't even really realized that I had let go:( So wish me luck and I will let you guys know how things go after next week :)
