First Fill

Today I received my first fill and it was a breeze. Thus far! I am on liquid for today - next two days soft foods - then back to regular foods. I can truly say the lapband has really been a huge success for me. However, after losing nearly 30 lbs in a month - only one person has says that they noticed [besides my immediate family] that I have lost weight. WIERD! But I am ok! I am feeling great! Excited that I am not able to purchase clothing from the regular sizes not just the BIG & TALL section. I believe I am losing inches more so than pounds. Though inches are cool - pounds are better!

Tomorrow Is My Big Day

Tomorrow is my big day..... A day of new beginnings! My mother is here with me tonight and will be here probably until I am well and able to take care of myself. I am scared, nervous, anxious, but thankful, excited, trusting in GOD to bring me through - 100%! We have prayed, and she has laid hands on me. We are both nervous, about the unexpected.
My doctor is very passionate about what he does and that is why I immediately stop attending any other seminars because I knew I had found my surgeon. Dr. Garth Davis, a well-known, prominent bariatric surgeon on this Earth; and I entrusted him and the chief surgeon [MY HEAVENLY FATHER] with my life. I am so greatful to him and his team for their genuine support in my life-changing experience. I just pray and hope that I have great success with the band.
