Hi, sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Here I am a little over 5 months post op and everything has gone perfectly. I am down a little over 100lbs. I have had no complications and feel great. I'm now knowing my stomach and getting used to what I can and can't eat. Bean dip from Serranos (a local Mexican restaurant) is my favorite so far! I eat a lot of soups and things of that nature. I can eat moist means like chicken and meatloaf. Sometimes people who haven't seen me in a while don't recognize me right away! It's really the greatest thing I've ever done. Now that I'm lighter, I don't mind getting out in public as much and I'm looking forward to traveling this summer. I'm also enjoying activities I was once to heavy to do, such as ride ATV's in the Arizona desert! Thanks for all those who emailed me messages of support! -Rick

Hello all. I just wanted to say thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and even one hospital visit from an OH member! Well, everything went great. I am home now after 2 nights and feeling really good. I am following the doctors orders to a "T" and can't wait to start loosing big time! Thanks again. - Rick

Congratulations on your surgery! :-) I hope everything goes very well for you and that recovery goes as good as it can. Walking really does help a lot early on, just be careful and listen to your body when it needs rest. Get well soon & God Bless.
