About me....I am me. Me consists of 339 pounds. I can't believe that I just put that in print. Oh well. I have struggled with my weight for a long time. I can remember my high school weight of 160lbs. I tried everything to lose weight because at that time I thought I was "BIG". What I would give to be that "BIG" instead of this current "BIG". I have contemplated WLS for a long time. It was never in the cards for me until now. I did all my testing and my surgeon's office submitted my paperwork to the insurance company on Friday, May 2, 2008. I received a phone call on Monday, May 5, 2008 that I was APPROVED!! I had heard horrible things about Blue Cross Blue Shield taking forever to approve the surgery. I thank GOD that everything went smoothly. My new birthday will be July 8, 2008. I cant weight.(wait)lol SO wish me luck and keep me in your prayers as I begin this journey to my new and improved life. Remeber that we must endure the storm to get to the rainbow.
