Hi, my "overweight" story starts much earlier than most. When I was 5 years old (I don't remember it) the babysitter put me on a diet, so my weight problem has been, literally, lifelong!! I have been around 40 - 70 lbs. overweight most of my life until I was around 40 yrs old. The day I reached 200 was very tramatic!! Since then, I have gained and lost hundreds of pounds, up & down, and like everyone else, have gained it all back plus some more. Now, at 58, I am so happy to have had my VSG on 5/13/08 and to know that all this weight that I have lost so far will NEVER come back. For more info, go to my WLS SURVEY
