Jennifer,Take a deep breath,stand back and get back on track.You are not giving yourself the credit you deserve.You have endured and come all this way to achieve, not to fail and you are not going to!!It's just that simple. You are worth it all the way girl.Start over doing exactly what your Dr. instucted you to do, NOT what the negative little nudge on your shoulder is telling you to do.You are a pretty girl with alot of living to do.Take some classes, or get involved in a craft,paint your room,whatever you need to keep your mind involved.I am pre-op until the 18th. I went to a meeting and met a woman to was 6 days post-op and she was telling me how she was eating icecream, soda, Ritas Ice, you name it and lost 9 lbs.I was stunded. I am not a will powered person but I want this too much.You went through so much and God saw you through it.Don't you owe yourself to get back on track? You can do it!Summer is just around the corner and what fun you will have. I am 53, and I would give anything to have your youth with the chance we are being given.If you can't find some other distraction, come to my house, you can paint for me, ha ha. Jennifer, As a person that is having WLS five days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.
