Lorraine, sounds like you are doing terrific! Thanks for updating, your story helps inspire those of us still waiting for our big day (mine's getting closer, July 9th!) Keep up the good work and keep us all posted.
I am almost 2 months post op and I am looking and feeling great. I had alot of problems last week with the acid in my stomach but the ordered a new drug (Protonix 40mg once a day) It has helped me with the acid allot so now I can eat like I need to. I am not getting as much protein as I should so I think I am going to get the shakes. I tried them when I first came home but I could not keep any of them down. I have allot of new recipies now so that I can get the 65grms of protein in a day. Overall I am feeling great and doing well I also joined the gym and I work out at leat 4 times a week I ride the bike for 30-45 minutes and wak the same on the treadmill. Well thats about all I have to report for now I will update as the status changes. I have lost 43 lbs so far but I am working on another 30 before my birthday (8/20).
Hi Lorraine, You are in my thoughts. You should be just now into day two. In a few days you will be up and walking the halls. Good Luck to you. I am not positive, but I think I met you on the day of our ultra sound. Let me know how you are doing?
I just wanted to stop by and say congratulations on your upcoming surgery, I also wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
