On today I went for my first fill in which it was only 1cc. Man the doctor stuck the needle in twick do to couldnt find the port. It hurted like hell. So, far i have lost 30lbs  which everyone in the doctor office was very impressed. Honestly I think I was doing better without the fill now I feel funny in which the doctor keep telling me it was natural. It has been 6 weeks since my surgery but after the fill I started to wonder should I have gotten the gastric and let it be. Especially since my office is the gastric office out of 6 women I am  the only lap band patient in which I hear all the time you made the wrond decision. But how can someone tell me that. I guess they are lossing weight faster but with my will power it iwll happen.  Just wanted to let some so thoughts lose.

Since the surgery I have lost 20lbs. Yeah for me, I got into some of my sister clothing which was a major exciting point for me. I can now wear her dereon and baby phat outfits LOL. which she is now hiding.  I have had no complication with the surgery and doing well. So far so good

On yesterday I ate Mashed Potato for the first time!  Wow there were so good after all the liquids. My problem now maybe I ate to fast or they was not then enough I fill as if I have a lump in my throat. Any suggestions on what I can do.

My surgery was on 3/18/09,  I am walking around on today like nothing happen. Taking it slow with liquids. I cant beleive all the grip and nervous tension I had was for nothing. My doctor stated the surgery took less than 30 minutes wow. My followup visits is in two weeks. I have come  to peace with my self that this is something I wanted and will not let anyone take my joy. My sister and Mom are my number one supporters. I love them for that. Just wanted to say anyone whom is thinking about having surgery and have to little bit of worries. Stop your worrying baby, it was a breeze.  Now i am left the the hardest part getting use to eating correctly and the band. I would like to thanks all you for the support and love you showed.

Went for my Pre-op appt today ... Oh My gosh it is almost here the 18th is around the corner. Nervous but excited. Would love to have a buddy hit me up

Guess what guys I finally got a date. March 18,2009 I am so nervous. While excited I have heard all the negative comments but they don't know how it feels to go from pretty plus to plus sizes. Now have diabetes. I am having the lap band surgery and cant wait for the date.
