Robert Chastanet

"When I first met Dr. Chastanet, I didn't realize that he was going to be my surgeon. I didn't even know that they had brought in a new Dr. because one of the Dr.s that was there when I signed up 14 months before had left. At first I felt really uninformed, and not sure if this was something that I wanted to go in to. Not having a choice of who was going to do the surgery really gave me issues. This is Tri-Cares doing because we do have an team of Dr.s to do WLS here at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Anyway, when I first met him, I liked him. VERY SWEET, CAREING, AND MOST OF ALL IT WAS NICE TO HAVE SOMEONE UNDERSTAND ALL THE CRAZY STUFF MY BODY WAS DOING. Now you know, a Dr. who has patients who really don't have a choice of surgeons and are chooseing to have elective surgery. The man is just....I CAN'T BEGIN TO SAY ENOUGH FOR HIM IN HIS BEHALF. The entire Bariatric team at PNH was wonderful, from the first time I stepped on their scales (Aug 2003) to the day I left the hopsital Post-op (April 7, 2005). I can not rave enough for these people, Dr's, Nurses, Corpsman. Thank You Dr. C, Dr. Lord, and Jan "
