03/14/2007- Nothing much has been going on except for I am very excited about meeting the surgeon and taking my educational course.  Also,I ordered two books to read:  Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies and Susan Maria to occupy my time.  A couple of people I have spoken with, highly recommend these books.  Other than that, I am trying to prepare myself and change the way I eat.  I still have more searching to do and the process never stops.  If anyone stops by to read, can you please tell me where online I can find recipes for shakes and of course for after my surgery..........Until next time

3/9/2007-Hello everyone!  It has been a few days since I have blogged.  I have had a hectic week and not feeling well.  I experienced and asthma attack on the 8th and still feeling the effects of it.  I have not had an attack since my teens and the weather here in NY has been very cold.  I could barely walk up the steps from the subway without feeling tired.  Other than that, I am looking forward to my educational class and meeting with the surgeon.  Oh yeah!  I get my referral for the surgeon on the 20th and HOORAY for me.  Well, that is all that is going on for now and I would like to shout out "ALL MY LADIES ON MY PAGE".  Most importantly, Thank you GOD!  for letting me see another day, my family and for the new friends I have made.......Until next time, Be up & Stay up...

3/2/2007-Guess what everyone!  I actually get to consult with the surgeon on April 3rd at 11:30a.m. and I will be attending an educational course on March 27th at 11:30a.m.  The fee is 110.oo and it is very much worth every bit of it.  I can finally say my dream is coming true.........Stay tuned

2/28/07-Hello all!  I must say that today is a good day and I feel GREAT like tony the tiger.  I was blessed to have breathe in my lungs and a wonderful creator.  Alao, I have my very special ANGEL who is going to walk me through.  Oh yeah!  To my BFF TAMARA, you are my rock and I will always be there for you.....much LOVE!  Anywho, I am at work now and that is another story.  Stay tuned...Smooches

2/25/2007-I met with my primary care physician on 2/20 and had a physical done.  The visit with him was not the greatest and i mean he was very negative towards me.  When I askd for my referral, he nearly liked to have a fit.  He proceeded to say that I was going to get rejected and then on the other I qualify weight wise.  I though about what he said and come to the conclusion that it is the devils work.  I am keeping a positive attitude and will see this through.  I will keep updating and that is the only thing to keep me sane for now.

2-04-2007-It has been a long time since I have blogged.  The last time I blogged, I had mentioned a new job and my insurance.  Well, I quit the new job and my I have been experiencing problems with my insurance.  My insurance has sent me the wrong cards that had the wrong doctor or my childs name was spelled wrong.  I have had some challenges and it has not been easy.  Another distraction I had, was that I met someone and thought this was it.  WRONG!!!!!  he turned out to be a joke and now here I am back to concentrating on what is important to me.  I am back and look forward to continuing on with my journey.....

1-17-07 Hello Everyone!  I have not posted in a few days.  I would like to say that my HMO was approved and now I can see a surgeon.  I found a great surgeon by the name of Stephen Carryle and he is the chairman of Barriatric surgery at the The Brooklyn Hospital Center.  I will schedule an appt. for next month and I start my new job this friday.  This is it for now and will keep updating....

1-11-06 Well, I went to take a PPD today at the new job and get familiar with the place.  That was pretty much my day.  I am still pumped up about my having surgery done in the near future and constantly trying to educate myself.  Everything else is just coming together thank god.  My blog is kind of boring today and actually nothing exciting happened.  Well, I will have more tomorrow......Stay up & Be up
